Earlier this year, Max Verstappen officially revealed his relationship with Brazilian model, Kelly Piquet, who also turns out to be the daughter of 3-time F1 world champion, Nelson Piquet.
Much like his relationship with Kelly, things are looking very promising for Verstappen on the track amidst the pursuit of his first championship title in F1. However, there is no denying that he is feeling the heat from reigning world champion, Lewis Hamilton.
Hence, one might wonder, will the Dutchman ever knock on the doors of his Nelson Piquet in the search of tips and tricks to fend off Hamilton’s threats?

What did Max Verstappen say?
As reported by GP Blog, the 2021 championship leader opened up about why he doesn’t need Nelson’s advice amidst the rising threat from Hamilton.
“Of course he’s a legend in Formula 1,” he said. “It is my own career. I make my own choices and I will never compare myself to other drivers. That just suits me better.”
The Brazilian legend holds onto one of the most impressive records in F1 with the three title victories standing out quite evidently.
Apart from that, Nelson has also secured a total of 60 podiums, out of which, 23 are race wins. He has also been on pole for an impressive 24 times. Nelson churned out most of these successes while racing at the Brabham F1 team.
