F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali insists that there is no trust lost among the FIA. He also asked the FIA to publish all the findings regarding the incident. However, Max Verstappen says otherwise while Lewis Hamilton wants transparency.

What did Verstappen say?

The FIA revamped the regulations in the aftermath of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. They also replaced the race director Michael Masi with two race directors – Niels Wittich and Eduardo Freitas. Further, they have introduced a VAR style Virtual control room to improve the decision-making process.

Max Verstappen disagreed with Stefano Domenicali. The Italian believed that the complete report on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix should be published. The Dutch driver said, “I don’t think we need a full report. Of course, every year it is good to discuss what happened the year before and what you can do better.

“That is what teams do as well, you analyse everything you do so we will find out and if things can be written down in an easier way or a way to understand it better in the wording, for sure, but let’s see.” he explained.

The Dutch Driver was also asked whether he has to win the Championship again to make the doubters vanish. He replied strongly that he deserved to win the title, with the maximum number of poles and race wins last season under his name.

Lewis Hamilton wants transparency

Many believe that Lewis Hamilton was done wrong by Michael Masi at the Abu Dhabi GP last year. Furthermore, people feel that it was Masi’s wrong calls that took the 8th World Championship away from Hamilton. In light of this, Hamilton has asked for transparency and wants the FIA to publish the report.
