Podium celebrations usually call for happy moments and memories for the future. However, Max Verstappen and Red Bull might be in a state of devastation after the Hungarian Podium. All was fine until Lando Norris‘ iconic podium celebration happened. Max Verstappen was left $45,000 poorer as a result of the celebration. Fans are worrying about insurance for the same. After a hard-fought Hungarian GP, Lando Norris who started P3, finished on the podium. Max Verstappen as usual, took the victory despite starting P2. The Dutchman finished 30+ seconds ahead of Norris in P2. Norris during the post-race interview suggested how Max Verstappen and Co. were so far ahead at the moment and would require a failure from the Red Bulls for someone else to win a race. 

Looks like Lando Norris, who wasn’t able to steal a victory from Verstappen, decided to crack the Dutchman’s win. Red Bull broke the record for most consecutive wins by a team by winning their 12th consecutive race in Hungary. However, as we’re well aware of Lando Norris’ iconic podium shenanigans, he likes to pop open the champagne by smashing it on the podium.

Only this time around he did it on Verstappen’s step, which ended with the P1 trophy of this historic win tumbling down and breaking into pieces. The trophy was a special one as it had gone under customization to feature Barbie, the new blockbuster movie. The trophy was handbuilt. The Media Referee suggests that the trophy cost $45,000, and it took months to build that trophy.
