Being a Dutchman, it is understandable when you see the amount of fandom Max Verstappen attracts. However, his fans are not limited to just his home country and among the F1 community. The Red Bull driver got a shout-out from Puerto Rico rapper Bad Bunny in his 2022 album, along with the likes of Zendaya and Daytona legend Buddy Baker.

Verstappen broke Lewis Hamilton’s dominance in a thrilling fashion in 2021. While he was gaining popularity before the feat, the championship certainly took it several notches higher. So much so that he earned a place in Bad Bunny’s album which was filled with pop culture references.

Benito Martinez Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny, released the album Un verano sin ti (A summer without you) with 23 songs in May 2022. In the song Andrea, the lyrics, according to Genius.com’s translation, went, “Life goes like Verstappen in Formula 1. And Buddy Baker in Daytona.”
