Max Verstappen and Red Bull have so far been the dominating force on the F1 Grid. Max Verstappen has won 9 of the 11 races so far with Sergio Perez winning the other two making it an impeccable record for Red Bull. Many suggest that Red Bull might even be able to bag all the wins this year. However, Verstappen gets ready to demolish the only question looming over the dominant RB19 as he prepares for a final push. What is this question?
Red Bull has proved its mettle at all kinds of circuits this season. It is common for an F1 car to lack in some aspects compared to others. For example, The AMR23 lacks straight-line efficiency and high-speed downforce. The earlier iteration of SF-23 was super harsh on tires. But, the RB19 has no crack in its armor. However, it hasn’t proved itself yet in the rainy conditions.

With wet conditions expected for this weekend’s Belgium GP, Max Verstappen looks forward to demolishing the question of Red Bull’s performance in wet conditions. According to @Redbulletin’s Tweet, Max Verstappen said, “It looks like it’s going to be quite a rainy weekend so we’ll see what impact that’ll have as it always makes it a bit more interesting and chaotic.”
As Verstappen suggested that Spa is one of his favorite tracks, he hoped for Red Bull to have a strong weekend before the summer break starts. The Dutchman said “It will be interesting to see how our car will perform in the high-speed corners too. I have good memories from Spa and coming off the back of a great Team result in Hungary, I hope we can deliver this weekend, it’s the final push before the summer break.”
McLaren’s recent upgrades made the MCL60 a beast of a car. However, even before the upgrades, the MCL60 was a superior car in cold conditions and during wet sessions. Nonetheless, Max Verstappen revealed how he was struggling at Hungaroring during the qualifying session. What was the reason behind it?

Max Verstappen was the favorite to take pole in Hungary. However, Lewis Hamilton snatched that away from him with only a 0.003-second advantage. Nonetheless, in the post-qualification interviews, Verstappen explained how he struggled with the balance of the car throughout the weekend. But surprisingly the balance was great for the main race. The Dutchman advised that maybe the tires weren’t working well on the short runs.
According to FIA.com, Max Verstappen during the post-race interview told Motorsport.com, “We tried a few different things with the car in terms of set-up in Qualifying, which probably worked very well for today. But I mean, we tried so many things throughout the whole weekend, and it never worked in one lap. So it might have also been that we just didn’t make our tires work well over one lap. Because you know, in the race, everything heats up and it runs hotter for a long period of time.”
