With the Japanese Grand Prix canceled, the Turkish GP was chosen as its replacement. Red Bull turned up to the Istanbul Park with a livery that was a tribute to Honda who are set to leave the grid at the end of the season.
However, not everyone is on board with the new livery. The Milton-Keynes-based outfit failed to out-qualify Mercedes and many suspect the new design has played a role in it. But, Max Verstappen doesn’t believe the superstitions.

In the past, when a team has a new livery for a Grand Prix weekend, it hasn’t ended well. Hence, certain people feel that Red Bull weren’t able to match the pace of the Silver Arrows due to their new livery.
As quoted by Grandpx.news, Verstappen said, “Sometimes they say you shouldn’t walk under a ladder either, but that’s exactly what I do. I don’t believe in that sort of thing.” (Translated from Dutch via Google)

With Lewis receiving a grid penalty, Max Verstappen looks optimistic for the Turkish GP
Lewis Hamilton did achieve pole position in Saturday’s qualifying session. However, the Knight changed his ICE which will see him receive a 10-place grid penalty. Meanwhile, the Dutch driver qualified third and will look to steal the lead as soon as the lights go out.
Verstappen hopes to win the Turkish Grand Prix, as he would like to regain the top spot in the title race. As it stands, Max finds himself in second place in the standings with a 2-point deficit against his arch-rival Hamilton. Hence, he hopes to see the chequered flag in Sunday’s race.
