Max Verstappen has recently talked about his partnership with Viaplay. The Dutchman has opened up about the recent tie-up with the Swedish streaming giant. Viaplay put up a documentary named ‘Verstappen: Lion Unleashed’ as they took their brand to the Netherlands.

Viaplay is a streaming service based in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. It offers services in the Nordic countries, Baltic countries, Poland, and the United States. Moreover, the app has recently been launched in the Netherlands.

Viaplay will broadcast F1 in the Dutch country. To gain immediate acknowledgment and popularity in the country, the streaming giant has presented a documentary on Max Verstappen. Right now, Max Verstappen is one of the most famous personalities in the Dutch country.

Talking about the tie-up with Viaplay, Verstappen conveyed, “I’m really looking forward to this partnership with Viaplay, especially as our ambitions to be the best in our business match.”

Viaplay may be new to Dutch viewers, but the streaming service has already earned its footsteps abroad. It’s fantastic that we can treat a large group of fans to unique content that we are already creating together,” the 2021 F1 Champion further stated.

Can Max Verstappen cope with the extreme pressure of title defense?

Max Verstappen claimed his maiden F1 title last year. In a much controversial Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 24-year-old snatched the championship away from his main rival, Lewis Hamilton. However, as things stand, Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton are desperate to bring back the driver’s championship.

The Dutch driver is to start the season with #1 as his car number. Moving from #33 to this number has been a boost for the entire team. It’ll be interesting to see if Max can maximize his power to keep his title and stop Lewis Hamilton from snatching it.
