Max Verstappen has equaled one of Sebastian Vettel’s records! At just a young age of 24, this honorable stat might just catapult Verstappen even ahead of Vettel. The Dutchman is currently the reigning world champion after a dominant 2021 season. Moreover, he still continues to rule the grid with crushing victories.

Last year Verstappen had tough competition from the formidable Lewis Hamilton. However, this time around with severe unresolved issues, Mercedes managed no wins. With Ferrari also making mistakes in the last few races, Verstappen’s path to number 1 has been rather arguably easy.

Max Verstappen equals remarkable Sebastian Vettel record

The Dutch driver now has 65 podiums to his name since joining Red Bull. Vettel also managed 65 podiums with the team when he joined, also becoming a world champion. Since then, the Dutchman has maintained a wonderful form, which booked him 4 straight wins. Notably, the driver still remains competitive and extremely resilient throughout.
