The Japanese Grand Prix is here and there is a lot going on with our favorite racers in the land of Japan. The drivers arrived in the world of cherry blossoms and were up to absolute madness. We’re bringing you the silly things the drivers indulged in whilst they explore this beloved Asian country.

Having arrived in Japan, the drivers appeared for the press conference. Where Max and Daniel were caught being their authentic, goofy self. Max squished his face against the glass whilst Daniel dramatically suggested a gesture of a friendly pat toward George Russell against the glass wall. As the two former teammates goofed around, the rest couldn’t help but smile at their silliness.
As Red Bull’s PR team covers all the ground, they posted a video on their socials where they had both their boys playing football. The Red Bull boys, Max, and Sergio Perez weren’t half bad and they sure look like they’re having a ‘ball’ in Japan.
Max Verstappen & Co. Do Touristy Things In Japan
As for the rest, everyone from the F1 family has been spotted enjoying Japan, exploring the beautiful country in their own personal ways. Lance Stroll, being the young adventurous spirit, was spotted mountain biking and enjoying the local cuisine. He even took to his Instagram to share his experience with his followers.

Meanwhile, the AlphaTauri partners, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda were caught on camera singing their lungs out in a karaoke duet. The two were seen jamming to Adele’s ‘Hello from the other side.’ They definitely poured their souls into it. Not quite the singing skills you hoped for, but looked fun nonetheless.

As the drivers indulge in some work and play, they are soon going to start preparing for their performances on the track. But whilst they’re still at play, two the drivers got to experience a car that holds great value to them.
Mick Schumacher and Max Verstappen drove special cars ahead of the Japanese GP
There are two drivers who got the chance to go down memory lane. Getting in the driving seat that their fathers were in once. Behind the wheel, their fathers once held. A moment they’ll never forget for years to come!
As social media continues to give us insight, a video was posted where we can see Mick Schumacher drive his dad’s legendary car. Michael Schumacher, one F1’s GOATs, drove the Ferrari F2003-GA. Father Schumacher embraced the championship, driving this very car in 2003. As the car is soon up for grabs in an auction, Mick got a chance to take his dad’s car for a spin.
And the German boy was all smiles. We reckon it must’ve been an emotional moment for him.

Mick, however, wasn’t the only one who got the opportunity to fill his dad’s shoes. Max Verstappen got the opportunity to drive the car his father and former F1 driver, Jos Verstappen, performed a test in, about twenty years ago.

Max Verstappen slid into the Honda RA099 in Japan and Red Bull posted a picture of their Dutch star cherishing this moment alongside partner, Sergio Perez.
