Last year’s infamous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix saw Max Verstappen topple Lewis Hamilton to take home his first-ever F1 world title. The Dutchman not only took more poles than the Briton, but also won more races to set a perfect dominant season altogether.

Despite such dominant performance, Max is still short of some real achievements which he can never eclipse in the days to come. Apart from Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, there are two other drivers currently competing in the 2022 season. Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.

Max is one of the youngest drivers to start a race in F1. However, it took him 141 races to clinch his first-ever championship. As compared to Verstappen, another Red Bull former driver took 62 races (Seb won in 2010), while Alpine’s Fernando took 67 races (Alonso won in 2005) and Lewis most importantly took 35 races (The 2008 Championship when he defeated Felipe Massa).
What are the other aspects where Max Verstappen falls short?

Talking about their ages, Verstappen won the championship at 24 years, 2 months, and 13 days. Whereas Alonso took the trophy at 24 years, 1 month, 28 days. Moreover, Lewis got his maiden championship at 23 years, 9 months, and 27 days. Among them, Vettel was the youngest when he picked up the trophy at 23 years, 4 months, and 12 days.
Taking a glance at some more important facts, Verstappen has 20 wins in 141 races as of 2021. Whereas Lewis took 103 races to reach 20 wins, Alonso took 119 races while Vettel took 78 races.

Considering the number of world championships, all three drivers have got more than what Verstappen has in store. Lewis with all-time high seven World titles (2008 with McLaren, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 with Mercedes and tie with Ferrari’s Michael Schumacher), Vettel on the other hand is with four championships (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 with Red Bull) and Alonso with two titles (2005 and 2006 with Renault.)
