Some of the most renowned names in the music industry, such as Green Day, Westlife, and Marshmello, will perform at Singapore GP. And this recent announcement has left the fans excited to get there somehow.

The GP, which makes its return to the f1 calendar after two years, quickly sold out the tickets for this year’s race. The Marina Bay Street Circuit has seen some attractive crowd numbers in the past and remains memorable.

The circuit expands a little over 5 km of distance (3.146 miles). Further, it consists of three DRS zones with 23 corners to conquer. All this coupled with the usual humid conditions makes this high-speed street circuit one of the most physically demanding ones on the calendar. Notably, the circuit has recently extended its contract with F1 for seven more years.

Green Day, Westlife, and Marshmello set to headline Singapore GP

Green Day was previously in news to perform alongside Ed Sheeran at the Austin race. However, the grammy-winning band will now also perform alongside Westlife and Marshmello at Singapore GP. Previously, the artists behind the hit song “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” were supposed to stage a concert in Singapore in 2020, which was postponed to 2021. However, the pandemic was the main reason behind the eventual cancellation of the gig.

F1’s rising popularity has connected several industries to the sport. Musical entities like Kygo and Post Malone previously performed on the Miami stage. In fact, the GP created an immense buzz, attracting celebrities from all walks of life. It was a star-studded show, as the American crowd has notably slowly started obsessing over the world of F1.

Can Ferrari win it all again at the 2022 Singapore GP?

A little preview into the last race at Marina Bay: Ferrari achieved a marvelous 1-2, with Sebastian Vettel emerging as the race winner. Charles Leclerc was a close second after losing out by 2.6 seconds. Now, Ferrari is again showcasing a strong form in the 2022 season. Despite blunders and bad luck, they have achieved the pace to beat rivals.

Particularly, Leclerc has been in an incredible form where he mostly remains unbeatable on qualifying days. Though he sadly retired from the Spanish Grand Prix after a power loss, he notably led the GP comfortably before bad luck hit. Leclerc‘s retirement passed on the victory to Max Verstappen, who muscled his way to the top.
