Christian Horner set to stay on the F1 grid till 2026

Horner is one of the driving forces in Red Bull, and now having helped Max Verstappen pick up the driver’s championship in 2021, he is set to get a new deal with the Milton-Keynes-based outfit.

As quoted by Motorsport.com, Marko said, “He is a charismatic team boss who, by the way – already before you to [Max] – was working on his contract extension until 2026. We want to have stability for the whole team, or at least in the key positions, for the transition years until the new engine regulations come in.” and the new chassis rules are in effect.”

“That works very well. Christian is the team principal, he is in the public eye and I am a bit more in the background. But we coordinate everything well, set the lines together for the team and for the staff. In political matters we talk also usually the same language. I think the success shows us right away,” he explained. (Translated from Turkish via Google)
