The 2022 season has kicked off at is shaping up to be a cracking season. The Austrian team has got yet another title fight at their hands after 2021. So far it sees Ferrari and Red Bull duke it out on track for the top honors.

Although till this point, it has been Ferrari dominating, but Helmut Marko has claimed upgrades are coming through for Red Bull in the coming rounds.
Upgrades for RB18-Dr. Marko
The new regulations in 2022 have left a few teams in the paddock struggling with weight issues. The minimum was set at 795kg, but later it was decided to change it to 798kg. Although teams have been struggling to get the weight down, Red Bull has a plan in action for just that.
Commenting on the issue Helmut Marko said “Our car is definitely a bit more difficult to adjust, but we will lose some weight in Imola,”
He also spoke about Ferrari saying “The Ferrari is always fast, in all conditions,”

The Red Bull advisor believes that this will give the team a much-needed performance boost in the coming rounds in Australia to stay in the fight. He also spoke about Albert Park, “This track suited us, but it’s tricky. “

The Austrian outfit had a stellar 2021 campaign but narrowly missed out on the constructors. This year they will take on a new challenger in Ferrari. So far this season Ferrari has seemed to have the upper hand in terms of pure pace.
The Red Bull duo of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez has fought them in both the races this season. The season opener saw them experience some misfortune leading to both drivers retiring. However, the race in Jeddah saw them taste redemption with Perez snatching pole in qualifying and Verstappen winning the race in the dying stages of life.

The next round in Australia will reportedly see Red Bull bring upgrades to aid them in their battle with the Maranello outfit.
