Red Bull scored a double podium finish at the Turkish Grand Prix. Despite maximizing on the result, they were no match against their rival Mercedes at the circuit. The team had no answers to Mercedes’ pace during the weekend. Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko mentioned that the German team had an advantage of 15km/h on them.
It looks like that the world champions have the superior engine with just six races to go. This has certainly worried Marko, as he mentioned that 4 out of 6 races left favor Mercedes.

“If there are the differences in performance we saw in Istanbul, this will be a real problem. Of the six races that remain on the program, only Mexico and Brazil can be in our favor, as both are on high ground. For the moment, however, the rest of the appointments are in favor of Mercedes.” said Helmut.
