It’s no secret Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes collectively suffered the most detrimental season in their F1 career both in terms of reputation and morale. The team’s interpretation of the 2022 regulations gave birth to the W13 which had shockingly disappointing output. The car brought a lot of misery to the entire team, especially Hamilton. Perhaps a year too late, Mercedes took accountability for their mistakes and completely discarded the flawed sidepod concept and even got the fans excited. However, this isn’t Mercedes’s only sign of learning from their mistakes.

The entire team will always be humbled and get a reminder of their mistakes whenever they visit Brackley. How? As seen in a Tweet, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff put the W13 chassis on display in the factory. Why did he do that though?
