Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri both have had impressive junior careers. While Leclerc’s F2 season is regarded as one of the finest F2 championship seasons, Piastri won his F2 championship in a more dominant fashion against some tough competitors. Also, it’s important to keep in mind that despite the fact that both pilots were victorious in their first season, they each drive uniquely. However, recently an Ex F1 driver has drawn a comparison between Oscar Piastri and the Ferrari driver.
As we are all aware, Leclerc signed with Sauber shortly after his outstanding junior performance, and in 2019 he was promoted to one of the top F1 teams, Ferrari. The Monegasque successfully demonstrated his talent at Maranello and is now viewed as the team’s best chance to end their championship slump. And if we look at Piastri’s career, the rookie will be making his debut in the upcoming campaign with Mclaren.

According to the recent revelation by an ex-F1 driver turned pundit Karun Chandhok, Oscar Piastri possesses more talent than Ferrari’s wonder kid Charles Leclerc. However, these comparisons aren’t well received by the F1 fans and they have decided to give snarky responses on their Twitter Handle.
Though, given that there have been a lot of rookies making their Formula 1 debut, what makes Piastri so unique? While appearing at the Skysports pre-season podcast, ex-F1 driver Karun Chandhok was found gushing about the 21-year-old Australian. He said that Prema engineers reckon Piastri is better than Leclerc. Piastri won the F2 and F3 championships with the Prema Racing Team.
Twitter F1 Fans took a jab at Karun Chandhok’s recent revelation about Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri
Since joining the Ferrari team, Charles Leclerc has excelled. In his rookie campaign, he gave Sebastian Vettel a tough fight, and now that some Monegasque and Ferrari aficionados have noticed these absurd comparisons, they don’t like it and have flooded the comments area with sarcastic responses. Some of the reactions are listed below.
Piastri really didnt have competition in F2 though.. Leclerc got 7 wins and 8 poles meanwhile Piastri got 6 wins and 5 poles.

People seem to forget how good Charles' rookie season at Sauber was. We may not get to see Oscar's ceiling right away at McLaren but if he has a season like that it will definitely validate a lot of people's opinion.

The fans brought the younger brother of Charles Leclerc, who is still competing in F2 as a satirical response to Chandhok’s revelation. While poking fun, Fans agreed that Oscar Piastri would be better to Arthur rather than Charles.

Charles Leclerc and his team are pleased with how the preseason testing went. However, there are still a few adjustments to do before the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will serve as the season’s opening race. Having said that, do you believe Scuderia can provide its drivers with a car that will allow them to end their title drought in fifteen years?
