Formula 1 stars rarely make any television appearances unless it’s a talk show or a podcast. However, if on a given day, they are to make an appearance on a show like Love Island, Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo would be a perfect choice and not Charles Leclerc of Ferrari.

Luca Bish, the famous Love Island personality, opened up in a recently surfaced video that he would prefer the “gorgeous” Monegasque to join the show on any given day. Bish shared, “It’s gotta be Leclerc, isn’t it? He, he’s like girls love him.” However, he changed his mind later on to Daniel Ricciardo.

Bish and Muller were also accompanied by Matt Elisofon. Elisofon, however, didn’t agree with Bish, as he thinks the Ferrari driver isn’t up to the mark to fit in for such shows. He then came up with, “Luca, I’m disappointed in you. He is just so gorgeous, but he doesn’t have the Luca Bish chat.”

And that was when Muller opinionated, “Well, I think, I’m thinking of Daniel Ricciardo as being kind of at the top of it.” Finally, Bish agreed, “Daniel Ricciardo’s got the best chat in Formula 1 for me.”

When asked about the probable reason for his choice, he stated that Ricciardo’s subtle ability to talk everything through is the plus point over Leclerc. Interestingly, Elisofon pulled up another name as a contestant and he was none other than Carlos Sainz. However, he was hardly a match for Ricciardo or Leclerc when it comes to a show like Love Island.

Ricciardo, who joined Red Bull as their third driver or reserve driver and as an ambassador, earned more than Ferrari’s star driver Charles Leclerc in 2023. However, most of this money came from Ricciardo’s previous team McLaren, as they terminated the contract one year prior.

Leclerc reportedly earned $12 million last year from Ferrari and, as compared to him, Ricciardo is to receive $24.8 million overall at the end of this season. All these are from McLaren as an annual salary, one million dollars for the additional troubles he went through, and $2 million from Red Bull for his service to the Austrian team.
