In 2022, the F1 world grabbed some popcorn to witness the dynamics of the all-French lineup of the only French team on the Formula 1 grid. Much like the popcorn that has become stale by now, the same fate has been witnessed by news of an in-team fight between Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. To put out the fire of the simmering rumor mill, the boys from Normandy took a trip down memory lane ahead of the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix.

The official Twitter account of Skysports F1 posted a teaser of a karting track in Normandy with a voiceover and clips of the two Frenchmen sharing their emotions. The place was a trip down memory lane, to where it all began, and as destiny held; the duo came back to the track together as Formula 1 drivers of the same team

In the teaser, Pierre Gasly goes on to say, “It is pretty emotional. I mean just taking the same quotes getting to the track which we used to take when we were kids.”
