German F1 driver Nico Hulkenberg is currently serving as a reserve driver with the Aston Martin F1 team. Hulkenberg made his last F1 appearance in the 2020 Eifel GP. More recently, he opened up a new channel for professional connections on LinkedIn and Twitter went into a frenzy over this fresh development.

The German has been out of a permanent seat in F1 since he left Renault at the end of the 2019 season. Hulkenberg has appeared in around 180 Grand Prix in his stint in F1 between 2010-20. However, his chances of returning behind the F1 wheel look slim at this moment.

His career-best performance came during the 2018 season, where he finished 7th in the drivers’ standings, ranking “best among the rest”.
