As the Honey Badger prepares for his last race as an F1 driver for at least a while, he is ready to dawn a super special helmet for the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Ricciardo is set to sport a futuristic helmet for the race in the UAE as his F1 career comes to a halt. In collaboration with his future partner OKX, a crypto trading company, Daniel has put together an interesting design for his last helmet for 2022. The racing gear has an edgy futuristic design that showcases OKX’s cyberpunk aesthetic.
An excited Honey Badger shared a few thoughts on the new helmet. He said, “The final race with McLaren means so much to me. The futuristic design takeover with OKX on my helmet, aligns with exactly the mindset I wanted to go into this race with – looking ahead to the future.”
“There are so many fun opportunities in the Web3 space and OKX is the perfect partner to explore them with. Plus, I now have a cyber-punked honey badger… what’s not to love?!” he said, in conclusion.
The Honey Badger fans were in awe of the new helmet and didn’t shy away from commenting about it!

The Honey Badger may be stepping away from the grid, however, he isn’t ready to bid the F1 world adieu just yet. Taking a back seat in the upcoming year by possibly taking up a role of a third driver, the Aussie is hoping to find his way back to the track in a few years.
