The former Aston Martin driver and F1 legend, Sebastian Vettel, has won many hearts over the years. Having conquered the pinnacle of motorsports, with remarkable performances, Sebastian is a racer that will never be forgotten. During his illustrious career, Seb gave his fans countless memories to look back on. One of them is from his appearance on the TV Show, Top Gear. The interview is from 2011, the year a young Vettel was fresh out of a championship willing season. However, the host, Jeremy Clarkson, instead of treating the German like a champ, took a funny dig at him.

Sebastian Vettel delved into a lot of personal stories. One such topic that the two men covered was Vettel’s very first road car. On this, Clarkson suggested that Vettel’s first car was not even a car, but a moped. In reply, Vettel said, “Yes, obviously I was not old enough to have the driver’s licence yet.”
Continuing to share, Vettel talked about his first four-wheeler. He said, “The first one I had was a BMW X3.”
Hearing this, the English broadcaster exclaimed, “Oh ghastly!”
Vettel revealed that the only difficulty the car posed was regarding parking. But the interviewer jumped to further give his thoughts on Vettel’s $37K prized possession. He said, “And it looked like a genital wart.”
Vettel sniggered as he concluded to say, “It was quite cool you know I was 18.”

In a pre-race interview, when asked if it would be emotional for him to get in his car today, Sebastian Vettel expressed, “I guess at some point a little bit different, it does feel a little bit different already today even though, like I said a lot of it is routine but yeah, how much and how it will be I don’t know yet, I guess you have to ask me again if you catch me.”
The four-time world champion will always have his place in Formula 1 and will be fondly remembered by many.
