Williams has also been linked with Logan Sargeant and Mick Schumacher for their vacant seat in 2023.

Nicholas Latifi disappointed to part ways with Williams Racing

After 3 years with Williams Racing, Nicholas Latifi will bid farewell to Williams as his contract expires at the end of the season. The boy from Montreal has scored 7 points in his tenure. The Canadian acknowledges the results just weren’t coming for him and accepts the decision of the team.

Latifi said, “I do understand the decision; at the end of the day, it’s a results-based industry, performance-based industry and this year it didn’t work out for many different reasons.”

Latifi also said that he plans on returning to F1 soon. He added, “Formula 1 is definitely where I want to be, it’s the pinnacle of motorsport and what I’ve dedicated most of my life to. If there’s an option here I’d be silly to say no, but for now, just focus on the last six races.”
