It was the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and Sir Lewis Hamilton was nearing his 8th world championship when luck didn’t side with the Brit. Since then, times have been tough for the Mercedes star. Even his 2022 campaign is not going the way the team would have imagined. Amid all this, he recently posted something on his Instagram that has acquired a lot of people’s attention.

Mercedes’ challenger, which seemed flawless for consistently eight years, is now struggling on the track. The sheer lack of pace is making it difficult for the Silver Arrows Mercedes to go up against their rivals. The Billion Dollar man currently stands sixth in the driver’s championship, but he hasn’t lost hope.

Lewis thinks it’s just a matter of time before everything will start falling into its place.

He wrote on Instagram, “We’re all so much stronger than we think. So when there’s hard days remember that good ones are coming. You, your goals, and your dreams matter.”

“Life isn’t an accident so don’t treat it like one. You’re here and that’s incredibly special. Don’t ever forget your power. Don’t ever forget your purpose. And don’t forget that I’m rooting for you.”

Lewis Hamilton has experienced a lot of adversity in life. And having conquered it all, he is a huge inspiration to not only his 30m followers on Instagram, but also the entire F1 community.

Lewis Hamilton hopeful about Mercedes’ performance

Mercedes started the 2022 season hoping to win their 9th consecutive constructors’ title and get Lewis his record-breaking 8th WDC. However, they with the new technical regulations now find themself unable to compete with Ferrari and Red Bull.

The seven-time world champion is hopeful that this year’s struggles will make the team stronger in the future. He said,Not a single person in our team has given up and we’ve continued to push.”

Entering the season, [it’s] not necessarily the one you would ask for. But if anything, it has been a really valuable lesson learned for all of us and experience.”

The team is constantly working on the car and has got some good performances from the W13. With these comments, Hamilton surely seems confident about their comeback next season.
