The Las Vegas Grand Prix becomes the latest addition to the list of American Grand Prix. America will host three Grand Prix next season, more than any other country. This is exactly why the American fans might crave to see an American driver on the grid, someone they can get behind and cheer.

And this is exactly what the CEO of Liberty Media, Greg Maffei, stated while talking to the press, “We have an American team — we have Haas,” Maffei added. “And I think having an event like this in Las Vegas, all the other things that we’re doing in the U.S., is only going to make it more likely we soon have an American driver.”

Considering recent times, The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be one of a kind with the race beginning on Saturday night. Although F1 has hosted Saturday races before, a non-Sunday race will take place almost after 4 decades in the sport’s history.
