As he started the race from P3 and did exceptionally well in the qualifying session, many expected Lewis to aggressively approach the race. Although, things didn’t go as planned for the Mercedes driver as he looks back on a disappointing outing.

Lewis Hamilton was gutted to not improve on his P3 position in the Singapore GP. The British driver lost his place to Carlos Sainz in the first lap and dropped to P4. Furthermore, a mistake from the Mercedes driver later cost him his place twice as he ended a frustrating race in 9th position.

Later, The 7 Championships winner shared a motivational message to his fans on his Instagram story. He wrote, “It’s a new day, something I’m grateful for. Yesterday was painful and a day to forget. Thoughts and feelings run deep in that I let my team down, and all of those incredible people who support me.”

He further mentioned how it is tough to deal with failure and added how to deal with it and keep pushing. Subsequently, Hamilton is focused to turn his poor performance around in the upcoming races.
