The lives of Formula 1 drivers are usually glamorous. Leaving aside the rough and tough training and schedules, the drivers do get to enjoy their time to a great extent. Out of all, Lewis Hamilton, for one, can be considered a ‘party animal’. However, his ‘surrogate father’, was anything but happy with him for this.
After Hamilton moved to Mercedes from McLaren in 2013, reports suggested that the Briton started spending more time partying. The man from Stevenage was a regular face in the party scene among the F1 personalities. Seeing this, Ron Dennis, the former team principal of McLaren, wasn’t happy and expressed that he would not have allowed Hamilton to do the same under his rule.

Dennis met the seven-time world champion when the F1 driver was just a 12-year-old karting driver. He is one of the monumental figures behind Lewis Hamilton’s dashing Formula 1 career.
