Lewis Hamilton is a jack of all trades. Not only is he an F1 great, but he’s also a fashion mogul and an avid musician. Not only has he won the F1 title 7 times, but he’s also collaborated with clothing giants like Tommy Hilfiger. However, it was his other hobby that took his fans by surprise.

The Mercedes pilot took his fans by surprise a couple of years ago when he shared a Tweet wishing everybody a merry Christmas in a rather different way.

How Hamilton wished his fans a Merry Christmas

Hamilton, for the first time in his career, failed to win a single race this season. Naturally, the mood in the Mercedes camp might not be very optimistic. However, the old video of Lewis wishing Christmas to everyone by playing his guitar might cheer him up.

Sitting in front of a Christmas tree, Lewis shared a video on his Twitter playing some tunes on his guitar. The former McLaren driver seemed a natural while playing his guitar.

Hamilton has previously shared multiple videos of him creating music in his studio. The 103-race winner has also shared his music with his fans on Instagram Live.

Mercedes, who finished P3 in the WCC this year will be hoping to turn things around next season. Furthermore, Toto Wolff believes Lewis Hamilton will be a key figure in making it happen because of his experience as a senior figure.

Mercedes alpha Toto Wolff has opened up Lewis Hamilton’s seniority in the Silver Arrows’ camp. Hamilton, who has been with Mercedes for 8 years and raced in over 200 races for them, is one of the most influential figures in the garage.

Moreover, the Austrian boss believes that Lewis can replicate a similar role to what Michael Schumacher had in his time with Ferrari.

Wolff told Beyond the grid podcast, “Obviously there’s his involvement in developing the car and his presence in the factory, but I think on the race weekends, he has become such a senior figure – maybe a little bit like Michael was back in the day.”

He further continued, “Or think about Tom Brady in football teams, that you become more than just the player or just the driver, but you’re emotionally part of the team, and he definitely is.”
