Lewis Hamilton won his 192nd podium at the Australian GP after overcoming all the negatives since the beginning of his 17th Formula 1 season. The entire Mercedes crew felt relieved as soon as the seven-time champion finished the dramatic race that featured three red flags. However, due to the unwilling treachery of the Silver Arrows, Hamilton’s latent villainy, George Russell’s might not be fully satisfied. Despite the atmosphere being in favor of the 38-year-old, fans have praised George Russell for adopting a gracious demeanor.

In the chaos that followed Alexander Albon’s collision at the Australian GP, Russell was left stranded on lap seven when his race lead vanished. When Russell was battling for sixth place, a power unit problem caused the back of his car to catch fire and soon he had to pull over to the side of the circuit, which brought on a virtual safety car. In the first two laps, Russell and Hamilton were both successful in pursuing the mighty Red Bull.

However, later the young Briton faced trouble due to a poor decision made by the Mercedes boss Toto Wolff. They left Hamilton out when the safety car was deployed and the Silver Arrows called Russell to the pits. Wolff later said that the call was incorrect. Nevertheless, by the time the race started, Russell was in P7, lagging behind Hamilton, who was in P5.

Over the previous year, Russell presented Hamilton with a fierce challenge. He is only the third driver to have defeated Hamilton using the same machinery. When Russell came to an interview post the race, instead of ranting or shouting at the team for the wrong strategic call and ending his race due to reliability issues, held a calm composure and won over many hearts with his cordial behavior.

Nevertheless, the Red Flag podcast’s host took potshots and questioned Russell’s motivations for acting out after a tough day. The program’s host also said that the young Englishman may have become angry after a brawl at P7 and that the safety car incident and red flags turned his day into a nightmare. In addition, the second host makes a point about how he must be furious but is hiding it from view to be amicable.

The second show host continued and said, “He’s not upset, right? He’s very gracious being chill about it. And by the way, even if you’re secretly a bad person. You’d have George as secretly just the worst human being ever. And this goes, I want those people shot. You know what I mean? That, even if that’s how he believes what he believes inside, and he’s a sociopath. It’s just the better move to be that nice.”

Russell indirectly alleged Hamilton to not fight well for the victory. He said, “I see no reason why we couldn’t have fought for victory today, so it’s disappointing.
