One of the exciting things about the Qatar Grand Prix was not just the title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. It was also the fact that a number of famous personalities were present. One such person is George Lucas, the man responsible for making Star Wars.

Hamilton reduces the gap to Verstappen in the title race

The Knight was starting on pole position for Sunday’s race and was hoping to grab another win this weekend. The Mercedes driver was just coming off a win last weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. So it is no surprise that he was optimistic for this Sunday’s race as well.

As soon the lights went out at the Losail International Circut, Hamilton pushed himself to the limit. As the chequered flag brought the race to an end; it was Lewis who found himself on the top spot on the podium.

The gap between the two title contenders, before the Qatar Grand Prix, was fourteen points. Now with Hamilton winning this Sunday’s race, the gap has fallen down to just eight points.
