The name Lewis Hamilton is not simply another driver name that competes in the highest level of motorsports; rather, he is a hot topic that has everyone’s interest. The seven-time winner has an allure that no one can match, but it appears that not everyone appreciates the whole package as a former F1 driver have some wild remarks for the 7x champion.

Since the start of his career, the Englishman had displayed his exceptional talent, but this year was the low point for the Mercedes champion. The Briton ended at P6 after failing to win even a single race this year. Despite the lows, Lewis Hamilton was extremely active on multiple fronts outside of F1 races and remained a continual source of hope for the world. That being said, the billionaire himself has made a bigger impact on society than sports, whether it be through his dedication to social causes or his propensity for looking hot in the newest fashions.

While many of Hamilton’s activities are admirable and he has continually attempted to raise awareness of some pressing issues, it seems that not everyone is appreciative of the combination. The Briton was pressed on this topic during a proctered  interview with Gazzetta dello Sport by a former Renault and Ferrari driver, René Arnoux. He said, “Hamilton as a character is not that I like very much. I didn’t like that he asked Mercedes to make the black car. For me, it was a disappointment. Instead of Toto Wolff, I would have done it half, half white and half black. That would have been a much more effective and positive message.”

While giving some wild remarks about Billion Dollar man’s trendy fashion styles, the 74-year-old said, “I don’t like how he dresses. Sometimes it seems completely out to me. It is his way, of course, everyone does as he sees fit. Does not need to be noticed concluded Arnoux nor to prove anything. Also because I don’t understand what he wants to show by dressing like that. But as a pilot nothing to say.”

when quizzed “Is there a kind of philosophy behind your self-expression?” The British racing driver replied, “For me,  fashion is about freeing yourself—it’s about self-expression; it’s about you; it’s about slowly, over time, evolving and learning more about yourself and what you like and how you want to show up how you want to be seen. What makes you feel great? It’s a great feeling when you put on a piece of clothing and throw your shoulders back and are just like: I feel great today.”
