Determined is one word to describe the Hamilton brothers correctly. On one hand, there’s Lewis Hamilton, a seven time world champion known for his competitiveness on the track and kindness off it; On the other, we have Nicolas Hamilton, who is an active racing driver, despite suffering from cerebral palsy.

Nicholas Hamilton’s cerebral palsy affects his balance, but he is no less determined than his half-brother Lewis, one of F1’s greatest drivers. Often, Lewis has regarded his brother as a source of inspiration to him and many. The two seem to be inseparable, and their bond is quite evident through numerous social media posts. Occasionally, they also like to poke fun at each other, as seen in this Instagram post of Nicolas Hamilton.

Nicolas Hamilton pokes fun at Lewis

Nicolas Hamilton took his chance to ridicule his brother in an Instagram post. The art was made in the form of the famous Simpsons show where Lewis and Nicolas were pictured in the fictional city of Springfield with their respective racing cars. Nicolas reposted it, which was captioned, “I’m better looking than @ lewishamilton (Lewis Hamilton), even as a #Cartoon.”

The Hamilton brothers inspire each other and it is visible in the success they have achieved. It is certainly also good to see Nicolas’s sense of humor and their strong relationship. Nicolas, who is an active racing driver, made his debut in the 2011 Renault Clio Cup. He competes in the British Tour Car Championship and was the first differently-abled driver to score points in the competition.

Lewis Hamilton admits he is out of the championship race

Lewis Hamilton’s start to the season has been dismal, to say the least. His struggles throughout the Imola GP further raised questions on whether he can achieve his 8th World Championship or not. The 37-year-old is downbeat and believes he is out of the equation for the championship.

The W13 has done no favors for the Brit. Despite Mercedes’ struggles this year, he has vowed to stick with the team and is confident the Silver Arrows can fix their issues in the upcoming weeks.

“There is nowhere else I want to be. Just because we have hit a rough patch, it is not in my DNA to back out. We can fix this. It is going to be a painful year that we are going to have to ride out together,” he added.
