The Mercedes AMG F1 team looked unstoppable on paper this year. With Lewis Hamilton already in their ranks, they signed the young talent George Russell. The fans are of the opinion that the duo will take the sport by storm.

Lewis signed a new improved deal with Mercedes this year that will see him at the Brackley-based team till 2023. As per the stats, Hamilton takes home a staggering $55 million per year from Mercedes. This is just the raw amount without any bonuses.

Earlier in 2021, he received $40 million, with a $15 million raise on the paycheck, Lewis is one of the highest-paid individuals in F1 alongside Max Verstappen.

Russell signed from Williams on a multi-year deal. For him, the amount is pretty less compared to Hamilton as the 37-year-old receives 11 times more than his fellow countryman. Russell receives $5 million per year from his new contract at Mercedes.
