After yesterday’s race, a lot of fingers were pointed at Red Bull strategists. It is believed that AlphaTauri and Red Bull engineered Tsunoda’s issues. This allowed Max Verstappen to benefit from a late Safety Car and snatch a potential win away from Hamilton.
In the aftermath, Hannah Schmitz, received massive online backlash and hate. Lewis Hamilton, however, posted to Twitter in response to take Schmitz’s side.
“The language and hateful comments directed at Red Bull‘s Head of Strategy Hannah Schmitz is intolerable and should not be condoned. This sport is cut-throat, and you have to be ready for absolutely anything, and that’s what she did today.”
