Lewis Hamilton, the man who’s currently in his 16th season in Formula 1, once opened up on his post-retirement plans. The Briton revealed the plans he had after he retires from the sport and particularly mentioned what he wouldn’t do in an interview with Global Education Series that dates back to 2018.

Talking about this, the 37-year-old driver conveyed, “Particularly in Formula 1, every racing driver that stopped and I think is similar for maybe NBA, some tennis players. Often you’ve done the sport whole life pretty much, so end up staying in the sport doing commentary.”

Hamilton, for the first time so far, has failed to win a single race in a season. Never before had the Silver Arrows ace had to finish the season without a win. While on multiple occasions Hamilton finished the season with as many as 11 wins, in 2013 he had just one win.

The Briton was tied with Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher, with 15 consecutive wins where the drivers picked up at least one win. A win this season means Hamilton will become the undisputed owner of this record. However, Hamilton stated that the record “has zero importance” to him.
