Lewis Hamilton Shows off His Hand Tattoos With an Inspiring Message

Tattoos are artwork, they tell a story or have a deeper meaning behind it. Lewis Hamilton is no different as each of his tattoos tells a story that tells his journey. Every single one has a meaning behind it.

Hamilton is known for his driving skills around the track, but he is also known for his tattoos. In a recent post, the seven-time world champion shares a meaningful post on Instagram, talking about the tattoos on his hand and the story they tell.

The number 44 Mercedes driver enters the 2021 season with an aim of winning his eighth title in Formula One. We can only speculate that Hamilton might get a tattoo that celebrating winning the championship.

The British driver has many other interests rather than just being behind the wheel. He has interests in fashion, music, and body art. He talks about how are hands each have a story and each one of them have on a journey.

Hamilton wrote,  “Our Hands Tell A Story each hand tells a different one. Some of age and wisdom, some of hard work, some of bravery and some of love. They all have a rhythm of their own. What do your hands say about you?”

Hamilton breaks down the meaning of his body art

The Mercedes driver has his body covered in artwork, each one of his tattoos has meaning behind it that gives him a purpose in life and what empowers him in his journey.

Hamilton said, “A lot of people that I speak with to, they’re like. I haven’t gotten a tattoo cause I don’t know what I would get. That’s a good thing, I think you should take your time. If you can somehow display your story, your journey to where you are at that point of your life.”

The Knight added, “Once you kinda get your first one, you kind of move on to what next can I get, what else can I connect with, what else resonates with me? Speaking about meaningful tattoos, Lewis added, “I believe in church on a Sunday, thinking wow, I’ve really gained my direction, where to go, so the church is really my compass. So that’s why I got the compass.”
