Lewis Hamilton, hardly a day after the controversial on-track incident with Max Verstappen at Monza, flew all the way back to New York City to take part in what is one of the world’s greatest night out for fashion lovers. Met Gala is basically a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts.
And the 7-time F1 world champion showed up at the 2021 Met Gala, which took place late on Monday evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art itself. Of course, he wasn’t the only sports celebrity, as a handful of tennis stars, too, joined the Briton.

Tennis champions, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Naomi Osaka, and the latest US Open champion, Emma Raducanu, dazzled at the latest Met Gala.
Of course, a lot of movie stars and singers including Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Channing Tatum, Kim Kardashian, Ben Affleck, and Justin Bieber, too, starred on Monday. But, let’s keep the limelight on Hamilton and his friend, who almost stole the show.

Hamilton sported a classic all-Black suit, with a lace calf-length shirt on the inside. Interestingly, he had company, with Roscoe being dressed up in a Black suit too.
Hamilton also bought his own table at the event, which cost upwards of $30,000, and invited four young designers, including Kenneth Nicholson. Following the event, Hamilton took to Twitter to shower his support to the American designer, Nicholson.

“So incredibly honoured to have collaborated with American Designer Kenneth Nicholson on bringing this vision to life. Kenneth’s craftsmanship and point of view advances menswear in truly inspiring ways. It’s a dream,” he said.
It is a known fact that Hamilton has an immense interest in the fashion industry. Hence, amidst his growing love for the field, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the Briton manages to carve his way into the fashion industry following his retirement from F1.
