It’s happening!!! 7-time world champion and F1 GOAT Lewis Hamilton has finally confirmed that he will produce a Hollywood movie featuring Brad Pitt. During the Azerbaijan Grand Prix driver’s press conference, the Mercedes driver confirmed his involvement with the movie.

Although he did not really give out the details about the project, he mentioned he had been working on the project for a very long time and was excited to see it finally happening.

“I can’t really say too much yet–I don’t really know if it’s been properly announced yet. But it’s something that we’ve been working on in the background, and it’s a super exciting project, a long time in the waiting. And I can’t really say much more, I guess, about it,” said Hamilton.

He explained what will be his role in the upcoming project which will be directed by Top Gun Maverick director Joseph Kosinski.

The movie will revolve around the world of Formula One and will capture the essence of the sport like never before. Hamilton mentioned he is closely working with the scriptwriters and is very much involved in that aspect of filmmaking. But he denied that he will feature in it.

” I don’t plan to be in it. No,” said the former world champion.

“There’s talk already of how we’re going to capture some of the footage, and it’s going to take us drivers being involved in that… but we’re not actors! We don’t want this movie to be crap.”

“And, yeah, I guess really my responsibility and something I take on is just making sure that the cast and the crew in the background are diverse. It’s something that I really highlighted in the beginning,” said Lewis.

It is certainly exciting to see a motorsports icon working on a project with arguably one of the biggest actors in the world. With the involvement of Hamilton in the project, there will be authenticity to the racing scenes in the movie.

But there is little to no information about the story in the film. So we might have to wait for a bit more time to watch it on the big screen.
