The world of Formula One is in mourning as Sir Frank Williams passed away. The founder of the Grove-based outfit was adored by the world of racing, and with his recent passing, millions of fans and drivers paid homage to him; including Lewis Hamilton.
The Knight wrote about Sir Frank in a way not many people knew him. The Mercedes had kind words to share about the Williams founder, who was loved by the Formula One community.
Lewis Hamilton has touching words for Sir Frank Williams

On the 28th of November, Sir Williams passed away at the age of 79 which resulted in a sad day for the world of motorsports. Many drivers crossed paths with the Williams’ founder, and all had praise for the Formula One legend. Hamilton took to Instagram to share a few kind words about Sir Frank.
He wrote on Instagram, “Sir Frank Williams was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of meeting in this sport, always had time for me and always without judgment. I feel so honoured to have called him a friend.”

“What he achieved in this sport is something truly special. Until his last days I know he remained a racer and a fighter at heart. I have utmost respect and love for this man, and his legacy will live on forever. You will be missed Frank, but I will see you on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with the Williams family,” Lewis concluded.

Russell writes an emotional message about Sir Frank
George Russell entered the Formula One grid back in 2019 with Williams. Sir Frank played a huge role in the British driver’s life. With the recent passing of Sir Frank, Russell talks about the influence he had on him and the Grove-based outfit.
He wrote, “Today, we say goodbye to the man who defined our team. Sir Frank was such a genuinely wonderful human being and I’ll always remember the laughs we shared. He was more than a boss, he was a mentor and a friend to everybody who joined the Williams Racing family and so many others.”It has been a genuine honour racing for him and being a small part of the incredible legacy he leaves behind, a legacy that will forever live on in the heart and soul of this team. Rest in peace, Sir Frank. Thank you for everything. 💙

George has just
