Formula 1 drivers are, without a shadow of a doubt, global superstars. With such a massive social media following, it becomes important for drivers to become responsible and act as role models. Interestingly, this thought is not lost on 7-time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton has spoken about the importance of being a meaningful presence on the internet. Hamilton has been a very vocal and ardent social media personality and has often raised his voice on various issues.

When asked about his social media presence, Hamilton responded that one thing that he always ponders on is “How much do you show, how much don’t you show?”. He further added that he did not want to post on social media “for the sake of posting stuff”.

He went on to explain himself and his attitude towards social media, “I’ve been battling myself… finding the right balance is always really difficult. So I’m really trying to make sure that if I’m posting something, I’m posting something worth posting, rather than a picture of me in the bathroom.”.

Lewis Hamilton spreads positivity through social media

Hamilton has been an advocate for spreading positivity through the medium of social media. He has often posted many Instagram reels and photos of his workouts with inspirational captions.

Being the most successful Formula 1 driver of all time comes with a considerable social media presence. Hamilton has never not used this platform as an avenue to inspire others. You can often spot him posting messages directed to his fans that exude empathy and good vibes.

Hamilton also added, “Maybe I will fail the first few times or even 100 times, but I know eventually I will get there in whatever it is that I do. I encourage people to listen to their own minds and ignore those who restrict them or knock them off the path to their dreams. You only have one life, that’s my thinking.”

Hamilton is definitely someone who inspires confidence and relates to Formula 1 fans across the world. His inspirational approach is something that sets him apart and the fact that he has achieved so much validates his outlook on life.
