However, Helmut Marko has put a stern warning out for his former Prodigy Sebastian Vettel as Lewis Hamilton may prove integral to the 4x Champions F1 comeback. What did Marko say?
Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel’s relationship started as that of rivals but ended as two of the best friends on and off track. It doesn’t seem like the friendship is going anywhere, anytime soon. The Briton even arranged a farewell dinner for Vettel with all the drivers on the grid and paid for it. Hamilton, during Vettel’s final race weekend, said “You’re probably going to come back. You’ll be back. Formula 1 has a way of sucking you back in.”
Speculations have been running wild in recent times about Sebastian Vettel’s comeback to F1. Some of it is as an F1 driver, while others are in a managerial role. Looks like Hamilton’s love and support for the German may prove integral as Helmut Marko makes a stern warning toward Vettel’s F1 return. Marko suggested that there will always be a combustion engine in F1 along with logistics. And moving everything to sustainable fuel also won’t be possible.

According to motorsport.nextgen-auto, Helmut Marko said “I don’t know if Sebastian will come back. He must first find his way. And he must also admit that there will always be internal combustion engines in Formula 1, but also a lot of logistics. It will not be possible to run everything on sustainable fuel, starting with planes.”

Sebastian Vettel promotes E-Fuels at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed

Sebastian Vettel was spotted at the Goodwood FOS where he drove Nigel Mansell’s Williams FW14B from 1992 and Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4/8 from 1993. Both the cars are owned by Vettel himself. The special thing about the cars was the fact that they ran on e-fuel, i.e. sustainable fuels. Vettel wanted to show people that even race cars can perfectly run on sustainable synthetic fuels.
During the F1 Days, Vettel would often wear a T-shirt to the paddock with a message related to global warming or other environmental concerns. The German driver would even start drives to clean up the grandstands with the fans.
