Netflix’s Formula One: Drive to Survive has been one of the popular documentary series in recent years. The show has been airing since 2019, and the most awaited season 4 is scheduled to be released on March 11th.

Max Verstappen tipped Lewis Hamilton to win the World Championship on the last race of the season. The series follows all behind-the-scenes drama as Motor Sport reveals the preview of the first eight episodes.

Red Bull and Mercedes Heavily Involved

The season’s focus will be on Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton as they compete for the championship. The show begins with ‘Clash of the Titans’, where The Brit and the Dutchman go head to head. This episode covers the first race of the season in Bahrain.

The next episode titled ‘Ace in the Hole’, jumps on to the new McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, and his struggles in recent years. The main plot revolves around the Australian and whether he can find a home in McLaren.

Episode three, ‘tipping point’ once again moves on to the main rivalry of the season. Red Bull and Mercedes clash is unrolled as the Monaco GP, British GP, encapsulates the rivalry in this episode.

Episode four, ‘Mountain to climb’, circles around Haas, and the two rookie drivers fare in Formula One. Daniel Ricciardo’s redemption in the Monza GP, and McLaren regaining their old heights complete episode five, ‘Staying Alive’.

Williams F1 team also appears in the show with the change in management, as the Williams family step away from Formula One (‘A Point to Prove’). The seventh episode, ‘Growing Pains’ is about the rookie Yuki Tsunoda and Alpine driver, Esteban Ocon. Both of the drivers come under pressure from their teammates. The episode dives deep into how they cope with it.

Episode eight goes around Russell and Valtteri Bottas, as the Brit is in line to replace the Finnish driver. Meanwhile, a crash between the two in the Imola GP heats things up (‘Dance with Wolff’).

The last two episodes of Netflix’s Drive to Survive are yet to be revealed to the public eye. However, experts and fans guess that Netflix will cover the controversial race in Abu Dhabi.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen revealed he will not be a part of season 4. Even though he will feature in the races, and the plot revolves around him and Hamilton, the Dutchman, has given no interviews to be featured in the show. The World Champion believes that the show ‘faked a few rivalries’, and as a result, he does not want any part in the series.

The season four of Drive to Survive is once again gathering attention all over the world. Will the show exceed the viewers’ expectations? We can only wait and find out on the 11th of March.
