Lewis Hamilton has made his return to social media. The Mercedes driver took to Instagram to post his first picture since losing the world championship to Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi. There had been many concerns over the silence of the 7-time world champion on the social media platforms.

Many had even reported that Hamilton might not return to the sport after his disappointment in Abu Dhabi. But he announced his comeback on social media by posting, “I’m back”. After his return, it looks like Hamilton has changed his status on Instagram.

Lewis’ status previously read, “Plant-based. Love animals. Constantly searching for my purpose, for adventure, for open-mindedness, and positivity. I love the power of the universe,”

He changed his status to,” Plant-Based. Living my purpose. Empowering those who may not realize their greatness. Equal rights for all. Love is Love,”

From his status, we can assume that the 7-time world champion may have fully realized his purpose in his two-month absence.

“The change to the bio content being ethanol, what that means is that the engine is going to react slightly differently to the fuel. There are some areas of performance we are really happy with and other areas where, honestly, we are less happy,” said the Mercedes Power unit boss.

The engine side of the world champions caused them a lot of problems last season. The team would hope that they can find solutions for every area and continue their engine domination in the sport.
