The Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is known for his humble and respectful demeanor towards his fans. And once again, the English driver showed his appreciation towards his fan online by taking an oath ahead of the 2022 season.

The seven-time world champion had a rough time after losing the record-breaking eighth title. He went away from social media. Seeing this, many fans believe that the 7-time world champion has retired from F1. However, the Englishman soon returned to the Brackley base and notified his fans that he never thought about retiring.

Recently, Hamilton visited the Expo 2020 Dubai, where he met with his fans who cheered the driver for the 2022 season. The 37-year-old was extremely glad to witness his cheerful fans in the Middle East. Therefore, the Silver Arrow man went to his Instagram and appreciated his fans for their support. He further took the oath to win the upcoming 2022 season.

Hamilton wrote in his Instagram Story, “I can’t begin to express how all of you made me feel today here at the Dubai Expo. I felt the most incredible love and positive energy from all of you and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and with me through the good and bad. I’ll fight with everything I’ve got for you this year. Love always wins.”

Lewis Hamilton will change his name soon

The seven-time world champion is undoubtedly the most famous driver in the world. Even individuals who don’t follow Formula One have heard the name of Lewis Hamilton. But now, the Mercedes man wants to change his name.

The 37-year-old driver will soon add his mother’s surname to his name. The Englishman was born to Anthony Hamilton and Carmen Larbalestier on January 7, 1985. In order to honor his mother, The Silver Arrows driver wants to change his name to Lewis Hamilton Larbalestier.

“I’m really proud of my family’s name, Hamilton. None of you might know that my mum’s name is Larbalestier and I am just about to put that in my name,” shared the seven-time world champion.
