When Epic Games learned about this, they collaborated with him to bring the racer into the virtual world of Fortnite. In the GQ video, a question that came up was, “Lewis Hamilton is in Fortnite?” Seeing this, Hamilton replied, “Yep. I got the opportunity to be in Fortnite. It’s a game that I played for a long time, but I said only if Roscoe could be in it.”
Roscoe, as you’d know, is the name of Lewis Hamilton’s dog. And this request was something the $32 Billion worth company took well. Hamilton explained, “They were like, ‘No problem.’ So Roscoe is, like, in my jet pack, like, hovering behind me as he’s my psychic.”
There is no doubt about how fond the Mercedes driver is of his bulldog, who happens to be one of the friendliest dogs, as we have seen in Mercedes’ Instagram reels.

Lewis Hamilton has always had a soft spot for animals. He has always wanted to rescue them, and that is how he met Roscoe. Lewis Hamilton said during an interview with Mercedes, “I remember being online, looking online for rescues. There’s some page I found that had like 1,000 bulldogs and I just went through all of them and then I came across this one picture and I was like – ‘That’s him!’ And that was like one of the best decisions I ever took in my life.”
Hamilton explained that he chose the name ‘Roscoe’ simply because he thought it was cool. However, do not make the mistake of thinking that Roscoe is just an ordinary dog. The Mercedes driver calls his bulldog a laid-back companion who enjoys the leisurely activity of quad biking. Today, Roscoe is 11 years old and follows a vegan diet as he had faced complications with his health, which included breathing difficulty, joint pain, and skin allergies.
