Lewis Hamilton is so much more than just an F1 World Champion. The Briton always loves to explore exciting experiences outside the world of racing. Although in the last few days, he says that he missed out on an awesome event. Hamilton posted the picture of the event on his latest Instagram story, mentioning his gutted feeling about missing it.

Hamilton posted a picture of the ‘Red Moon’ caused due to a Total Lunar Eclipse on November 8th, 2022. He captioned his Instagram story saying, “So gutted I missed this, never seen it red before. How amazing in the universe.”
The 7-time World Champion has always had a fascination with space, stars, and the universe.

Lewis earlier this year posted about his love for gazing at stars and space. His Instagram post dated July 12 reads, “I love space and gazing into the stars. The idea that the universe is so large and we are so small, yet each so special is amazing. @nasa’s new telescope allows us to see the deepest parts of space history has ever seen.”

“We’re looking at the first galaxies that formed after the Big Bang!! The universe is so powerful and everything about it is amazing. I’m so grateful to be a part of it with you all. #UnfoldTheUniverse”
The Mercedes driver has been involved in a struggle-filled 2022 F1 season, after last year’s titanic clash with Max Verstappen. Amidst a busy and packed 2022 season schedule, Hamilton does regret missing out on watching events like this Lunar eclipse. However, what he might be gutted for more is his on-track performance and a ‘winless’ 2022 season so far.

Lewis has not had the most straightforward season this year, with the Mercedes W13 struggling badly with porpoising in the first part of the season. Hamilton was alarmingly off the pace in the initial few races in Jeddah and Imola. He grappled with his car down the long straights in Baku, as the porpoising was hurting his back badly.
Nonetheless, the 7-time World champ turned a corner in Montreal (the venue of his first win in 2007). Since the Canadian GP, Hamilton consistently showed good pace and got 5 consecutive podium finishes. He came close to getting his first win of the season in Silverstone and Zandvoort, although those races didn’t go in his favor.
