Recently, Valtteri posted a picture of him skinny dipping in Colorado, which he later sold as posters for charity. Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was asked if he had bought the poster himself and his reaction was priceless.
After Lewis gave a brief overview of how Mercedes planned to tackle Barcelona, the interviewer asked Hamilton if he had bought the poster himself. The Mercedes was perplexed and replied, “I didn’t even know he had bought one but is that the one I am in with him?”

In explanation, when the journalist referred to just the picture of Valtteri, Hamilton replied positively. “I would yeah, for charity, for sure. I didn’t even know it was up for sale,” the Mercedes driver replied candidly.
“But I think it’s a great photo and is one of the best photos that I have seen”

Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton have been one of the great driver pairings in the turbo-hybrid era of Formula 1. With five constructors’ titles back to back and countless wins, podiums, and pole positions, they are one of the friendliest driver pairings on the grid.

Barcelona: A watershed moment for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton
Barcelona is an important turning point for the Brackley-based outfit as it will decide whether or not to stick to its zero sidepod concept.
Much like all the teams on the grid, Mercedes have also brought quite a load of upgrades to Spain. The most noticeable is the floor to reduce the porpoising. Porpoising has been a weak area for Mercedes and perhaps this tweaked floor is a step to reduce it.

“I think it’s a really important weekend for Mercedes to get their car concept to work, “ says SkySports pundit Karun Chandhok.
“I suspect they’ve tried different floor configurations, different setup configurations, to try and unlock the inherent performance they believe is in the W13 car for Hamilton and Russell.”

Karun also thinks this is the final weekend for Mercedes before they make a change to insert themselves into the championship fight. He concluded that the eight-time constructor champions cannot leave it out any longer. Mercedes is currently third in the constructor standings; behind Red Bull and Ferrari.
