Lewis Hamilton Leaves Out Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid in His “Best Passenger” Choice

F1 drivers over the years have been known for going fast and dating some of the most famous celebrities. Lewis Hamilton is arguably on James Hunt’s level when it comes to the latter part. Having been romantically linked to both Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner in the past, he left both his rumored ex-girlfriends and chose someone else as his best passenger.

“The risk of death turns people on”, said Chris Hemsworth while portraying James Hunt’s role in the movie Rush. Lewis Hamilton over his career in F1 has been linked to many celebrities. And has had the opportunity of taking them around the track in a car with the F1 hot lap. Earlier during the Miami GP weekend, the 7X champ took rumored ex-GF Kendall Jenner around the track in the Mercedes AMG GT. It was sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger as both of them represent the brand.

However, about 6 years ago, Lewis Hamilton took his other rumored ex-GF, Gigi Hadid for a spin in an older model of the Mercedes AMG GT, as they were also shooting for a Tommy Hilfiger commercial. It started with Gigi Hadid driving the car first and then followed by Hamilton taking over. However, for this weekend’s Miami GP main race, Lewis Hamilton drove the ‘Señorita’ Camila Cabello to the track in a Mercedes Benz SLR. 

According to Camila Cabello, Hamilton drove the car pretty fast, and it turned her guts “upside down”, but she also advised that the 7X gave her the compliment of being the best passenger. In a video uploaded by ESPN on YouTube, Camila Cabello said, “I’m not trying to brag or anything. Whatever, okay, I’m going to do it. He [Lewis Hamilton] said that I was his best passenger because I didn’t get scared and I screamed like I was on a roller coaster.”

Talking about how fast the Mercedes driver was driving, she added, “He was ripping it. I was like ‘Your insides must be inside-out, upside-down’ because he was going so fast. I thought, ‘Thank god I didn’t have breakfast’, because my body, my cells were scared but then my brain was like, ‘You’re with Lewis’”

And just the day after Lewis Hamilton and Camila Cabello were at the Miami circuit, they were in New York City to attend the Met Gala along with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

Lewis Hamilton convinced Lando Norris to stop and party in Miami after his first win, but probably wasn’t able to attend it because he had to attend the Met Gala the very next day in New York. Lewis Hamilton wore a Burberry Suit, with floral designs on the jacket, and honored John Ystumllyn, the first black gardener in Wales. Inside the jacket, the poem “The Gardener” by Alex Wharton was stitched, which was about John Ystumllyn. 

However, many of his rumored ex-flames also attended the 2024 Met Gala. Gigi Hadid wore a custom Thom Browne corset gown whereas Kendall Jenner featured a Givenchy gown designed by Alexander McQueen in 1999. According to Vogue, Camila Cabello’s dress was, a “lace-up v-neck, metallic dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, the hem of which was artfully distressed. The dress weighed 15 pounds and took over 450 hours to make and was embellished with 250,000 Swarovski crystals.”
