Lewis Hamilton finished the Australian Grand Prix with another strong result for the 2022 season. The 7-time world champion finished the race P4 behind his teammate George Russell. But he was complimentary of his teammate’s podium finish and called it a great team result. This is Russell’s second podium in Formula One and his first with the Mercedes team.

” Yeah, great team result. George did a great job today. I got to watch the great battle he had with Perez and, yeah, a bit unfortunate with the safety car. But I think we did a great job today considering the pace deficit we had to the guys up ahead. We did a good job,” said Lewis.
