In an unfortunate turn of events, the world lost a member of one of the most influential rap groups, Migos. Kirshnik Khari Ball aka Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston in the wee hours of 1st November. The news of Takeoff’s death spread like wildfire and a host of celebrities shared their condolences, including Lewis Hamilton.

Apart from racing, the F1 legend keeps himself busy with other industries too, which are mostly fashion and music. Safe to say, Lewis Hamilton makes his own contribution to pop culture. So as soon as the news of Takeoff’s death went viral, the Mercedes man shared his condolences.

Hamilton shared his condolences towards the rapper via his Instagram. Hamilton shared a post from Complex Music, the record label announcing Takeoff’s death on his story. The story captioned, “such a tragic loss 💔🕊️”. 

Not just Hamilton, a host of hip-hop artists and fans across the world, paid their tribute to the rapper’s tragic death. Ja Rule, Kid Cudi, Khalid, and Dave posted tributes on social media, while Rick Ross called him a “young legend”.

Hamilton, in a similar fashion, took to Instagram to communicate his heartfelt message on the passing of Chadwick Boseman. The Black Panther actor lost his fight against cancer and shocked the entire world.

In his tribute, Hamilton wrote, “I woke up today to the sad news, our superhero passed away. I am devastated. I’m so grateful I got to meet you, brother. Thank you for all you have done for us. Rest in Power King. You were the best of us and will never be forgotten. I’m sending love, light, and prayers to you and your family. Wakanda Forever.”
