Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen’s rivalry during the 2021 season was arguably the fiercest in the last decade of F1. With crashes, accusations, and controversial decisions, the season had everything. Even the team Principals got involved. But ever since Max Verstappen has been dominating and Lewis Hamilton has had no answer. Just hours after Lewis Hamilton insulted Max Verstappen, the Dutchman made a comeback and unleashed hell at the 7X champion.

Earlier this weekend, Lewis Hamilton belittled Sergio Perez and threw a jab at Max Verstappen by advising how the Dutchman never had teammates as competitive as Hamilton had during his title triumphs. Over the last two years, the two have been fighting, but only using words with no action between the two off-track.

Max Verstappen now came back at Lewis Hamilton advising that the Briton is maybe jealous of his success and that such a statement doesn’t matter to him. According to @redbulletin’s tweet that quoted Telegraaf, Max Verstappen said “Maybe Lewis is a little jealous of my current success. He may think he gains something with that, with those kinds of statements, but it doesn’t matter to me”

Toto Wolff had earlier taken a jab at Red Bull by advising that Sergio Perez isn’t an idiot and his gap to Max Verstappen cannot be understood. As Lewis Hamilton made this statement about Max Verstappen’s teammate, the Red Bull TP came out to defend his golden boy.

Christian Horner slams Lewis Hamilton to defend Max Verstappen

Whenever anyone bats an eye on Max Verstappen or Red Bull and does so much so anything to belittle the Milton Keynes stable, Christian Horner always gets back at them with a comeback. Just hours after Hamilton’s comments, Horner took a jab at the Brit and advised that Verstappen had also beaten the whole grid which included Lewis Hamilton as well. He added that Verstappen domination makes the driver think twice before even thinking of putting up alongside him as a teammate.

According to F1Maximaal.com, Christian Horner said, “He’s had different teammates, of course, and he’s always had the upper hand. It’s not just about beating your teammates, but also the rest of the field. Max has clearly demonstrated what he is capable of, and some drivers will probably prefer not to race with him in one team.” [Translated by Google]
